Dance of the Dandelion

Ecstatic Dance is the practice of, without the need to follow specific steps, surrendering oneself to the rhythm and moving freely as the music takes us, leading to a trance-like feeling of ecstasy.

The dance will begin at 7pm with a Welcome and Opening from Priestess Dandelion, continuing until 8pm. Giving dancers an hour to connect with the music and turn their focus inward.

The theme for this dance will be FREEDOM. This is a special fundraising event with profits going to support the women of the Middle East who are currently being arrested for dancing. 50% of the ticket sales will go to OWFI. As we dance freely we hold these women's struggles in our hearts and minds. Priestess Dandelion, along with the music, will guide dancers through a liberating practice that will call in freedom and strength.

Tickets are $15 Early Bird, $20 at the door.
